Marie
Carter-Dubois is the Director of Business and Operations Management for the
School of Medicine at the University of Washington. In this capacity, she leads
several units including Academic HR, Medical Staff Credentialing, the ABC
Shared Services center, and the Graduate Medical Education office. She is also
the principal for many large projects in the School of Medicine and the lead
for administrative transformation through Lean principles within in the school.
Marie also oversees the 11 Basic Sciences departments.
She
brings 20 years of leadership experience in academic settings. Prior to joining
the University of Washington, Marie Carter-Dubois held leadership positions in
finance and operations in many world-renowned academic institutions such as the
University of California, San Francisco, Stanford University and University of
California, Davis.
She holds a BA from the University of Quebec in Montreal, a MBA from the Hautes Etudes Commercials in Paris, and a master from Sorbonne in Paris.
Ms. Carter-Dubois is the mother of three children, who likes to travel and run when time permits.
